— About
Meloo is a free web app for learning Spanish through the songs you already love.
Meloo (meloo.io) turns real Spanish songs into language lessons. Right now it holds 58 Spanish-language songs by 48 artists, including Shakira, Bad Bunny, Enrique Iglesias, Phil Collins and J Balvin. Every song plays with synced lyrics, and every line, word and expression is translated and explained in context.
Across the catalogue, 17,219 words are translated in the line they are sung in (34,181 counting Polish), 1,304 expressions and idioms are explained, and 490 verbs are fully conjugated across 23,328 forms, with the form being sung highlighted in its table.
Meloo is free: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. It runs in the browser on any device and installs as an app from Safari or Chrome, with no app store. Learner text is available in English and Polish; the Spanish is always the original.

How it works
-
1
Pick a song from the catalogue and play it with lyrics that follow the music.
-
2
Tap any word for its meaning in that line, its dictionary form and its grammar. Expressions that don't mean what the dictionary says come with an explanation.
-
3
Save what you want to keep. Words and whole lines become flashcards; reviews come back when memory research says they should. Phrase and word packs cover the everyday Spanish songs skip.
Who makes it
Meloo is built by Dawid Lewandowski, an independent developer, and published by Lcommerce Solutions. It is built in the open: the catalogue, the translations and the learning tools grow every week, and feedback from learners decides what comes next.
